Caterpillar project

We had some very hungry little caterpillars join our class today to help gear us up for our bug unit in 2 weeks time...

Bunny money

We read the story Bunny Money about two little rabbits who save up their money to buy grandma a birthday present. The kids practiced sorting and counting dimes, nickels, pennies, and quarters.
Afterwards the kids made their own funny money. $97 and $99996666 dollar bills.

R is for rainbow

Our friends practiced sequencing as we painted rainbows
We also discovered that the rice in the sensory table had turned rainbow colored.
The boys sorted the Easter eggs "boy colors" in the bucket

The kids discovered some mysterious green footprints by the water fountain and in the bathroom!
We painted green boxes and set leprechaun traps around the room. Some of the kids wrote notes for the leprechaun

The kids found gold in their traps and all over the classroom and playground
