O is for ocean

One of our friends brought their pet hermit crabs
We also visited ocean creatures at the sitka sound science center

O is for octopus

Our friends practiced counting out 1-8 with help from our octopus project

We also got to visit the octopus at the sitka sound science center

N is for new year... Happy Chinese New Year

The kids practiced their cutting skills as we made lanterns to decorate the room. We also made Suns which are an important feature in a dragon dance as the dragon tries to eat the sun

We practiced scooping and pouring in our rice table
We had chopsticks and take out boxes as our drama area turned into a Chinese restaurant
